Sumatra after Earthqauke - is it safe to visit?

Hello,

I have flights booked to Sumatra next week (16th Oct 2009). Does anyone know if it is safe to go there? I am landing ti Medan, and plan to visit the orangutangs and lake tobo.... have these areas been affected?

A speedy response would be really appreciated as I have only a week to decide to go or not.
