I am originally from France but im curently expat to asia.

So you visit Paris I advise you to Go once in Marne la Vallee all is brand new so if you want to enjoy shopping go to 'Centre Commercial Val d'Europe' its a Mall close to it there is La Vallee only luxurius & international shops if you don't remember the name ask the closer Mall of Disneyland !

there are also the big avenues in Paris but i advise to visit Montparnass its very typic of Paris the little street etc.

the chinatown in paris isnt very exceptional..
