I've been wanting to get a GPS for ages but I really don't know which one to get. Some are only like 100 euros so I thought I could just get a cheap one and see how it goes but then I thought if it is limited in what it can do, I'd just end up buying a more expensive one later.

Any thoughts on whether a cheap gps is worth it or should I splurge and get the latest and greatest.

I just got a cheap bluetooth one to use with my phone - with a dodgy copy of TomTom is worked brilliantly... until I broke the power/usb port Sad

Back to my old Nokia and printing off directions from Google maps now!

www.ebuyer.com have got some good deals and there's thousands on ebay, but I'm thinking of getting another Windows Mobile phone or pda to use with the GPS I've already got as I'm kinda used to TomTom.

Someone did tell me TomTom is the best choice. I think I'll get a cheap one and then see if I actually use it that much.

Did you get your GPS? How's it going?

I can't believe how much I miss having one - think I got way too reliant on it!

I'm still thinking about it. I take forever to buy things like that.

I'll probably wait until just before my next trip and then get the latest model.

I'll let you know when I get something.
